What’s new in V7.6 ?
V7.6 is packed with new features across the entire product line. The release contains the following main features :
· SCOPIA Video Gateway for Microsoft Lync’ is now formally part of a solution release and tested with all solution components.
· SCOPIA XT Telepresence platform’ is now orderable as part of the V7.6 release, we expect to ship the first units within this quarter. As part of the ‘SCOPIA XT Telepresence platform’ we released ‘SCOPIA Control V2.5’ which adds support for managing a Telepresence system. SCOPIA Control is available for download in the Apple App Store.
· SCOPIA Mobile V2.5’ now supports inviting Microsoft Lync users to MCU meetings. Calls to Lync users automatically connect through the through the ‘SCOPIA Video Gateway for Microsoft Lync’. We have also greatly improved the way users select which video layout will be displayed.
· SCOPIA Desktop’ has implemented new methods for data sharing that dramatically improve presentation quality, especially in low quality network conditions.
· XT1000 V2.5’ now supports automatic local presentations, a feature that uses the XT1000 internal video switch to manage the flow of presentation from PCs for local or remote sharing. The XT1000 intelligently routes the PC content to the local screen, remote screen or both, based on the room usage.
· iVIEW V7.6’ now supports management of Lifesize endpoints
· Service providers who are using ‘iVIEW Multi-Tenant Edition’, can now offer SCOPIA Desktop Pro and SCOPIA Mobile to their customers as a multi-tenant deployment.

How can existing customers upgrade their products ?
Existing customers with valid support contract, can upgrade their products using firmware available from the customer support online FTP.
The SCOPIA XT1000 series V2.5.24 is now released and Generally Available for upgrade.
V2.5.24 is a new major release introducing new feature and improving interoperability, stability and quality.
Main added features are as follows:
· Web interface fully aligned with local GUI
· Local presentation support, implementing shortcuts and privacy when PC content is used locally
· Enhanced camera settings, allowing to configure several parameters of video inputs, obtaining the maximum video quality from your HD cameras
· Exclusion of local participant in multi-conference, both as default setting and runtime
· Branding customization, allowing the customer to customize logos and images, using the proper license
· Improved iView phonebook browsing and searching
V2.5.24 is a major release. Every customer with a valid support agreement is entitled to update to V2.5.24. Customers without support need to obtain a proper license.
